Hi - I’m Roger Munsey. I’ve been welding since 1985; mainly aluminium in the commercial truck industry.

I’ve been riding bikes for many years, started with the fast stuff, i.e. Ducati 900ss, 748, 996, etc. then came to my senses and got into adventure or bigtrail bikes i.e. Aprilia Caponord, Pegas, Yamaha XT 660 and now Ducati Multistrada.

ARDcase’s Eureka Moment
I once saw a BMW 1100 GS in France with big alloy luggage boxes. I thought they were much better than my flappy half melted soft luggage.

However, I was surprised at the price! So, I decided to make a set for myself (as you do). The first set was over-engineered and a bit fussy. After a while I made another, simpler, set using the knowledge gained from the initial prototype. With these I made a further set and came up with the designs I have now.
